I am a dedicated psychotherapist, offering virtual counseling services through Willow Behavioral Health.
I earned her master’s of education in counseling from Hunter College, City University of New York. Through a client-centered approach, I support individuals in managing stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges. Using evidence-based techniques, I tailor therapy to foster resilience and personal growth.
As a bilingual psychotherapist, I emphasize open communication and a collaborative process to guide you in navigating life’s complexities. With a supportive and structured approach, I focus on helping you enhance your emotional well-being and self-awareness.
Our group, Willow Health, provides short term, virtual care for individuals in mental health crises. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, care managers, and certified peers to create personalized care plans. We also have a nursing after hours line to help with crises that occur after hours. (This will not be with your regular care team).
Our services are short term in nature, lasting between 8-12 weeks depending on your needs. This means that at the end of your time with us, we’ll make sure you’re connected to ongoing care and support to continue your recovery outside of Willow Health.
Part of our services include an 8 week, virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for those who qualify. Be sure to let me know if you are interested in exploring this option.
Getting started is simple. You can schedule an initial assessment as soon as today virtually, from the comfort of your home. Your first meeting will last about 90 minutes. You’ll talk with a me and a psychiatrist or psychiatric NP who will help design a treatment plan that works for you. Depending on your needs, your care may include medication management, therapy (including specialized support for thoughts of self harm) and care management. Additionally you’ll have the option to participate in recovery coaching, which includes working with a peer recovery coach, someone who has lived experience with mental health and/or substance use, and who will support you through your recovery journey.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative, integrating evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma and life-stressors. I help clients process negative experiences, build resilience, and develop emotional stability. I tailor each session to the individual’s unique needs, focusing on their strengths and fostering personal growth.
