Professional Summary

I am an experienced, board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner who received my Masters of Nursing on Public Health from Grand Canyon University and post Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner from Rocky Mountain School of Health Professions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide virtual mental health services at Willow Health. I am committed to holistic, patient centered care and am driven to build strong relationships with patients and their families and provide them with services in order to maximize their potential for positive mental health outcomes.

With expertise in psychotropics and evidence-based practices, I address the unique mental, emotional, and physical needs of each individual. My goal is to empower patients through education, collaboration, and tailored treatment plans, fostering resilience and sustainable wellness

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our group, Willow Health, provides short term, virtual care for individuals in mental health crises. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, care managers, and certified peers to create personalized care plans. We also have a nursing after hours line to help with crises that occur after hours. (This will not be with your regular care team).

Our services are short term in nature, lasting between 8-12 weeks depending on your needs. This means that at the end of your time with us, we’ll make sure you’re connected to ongoing care and support to continue your recovery outside of Willow Health.

Part of our services include an 8 week, virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for those who qualify. Be sure to let me know if you are interested in exploring this option.

Getting started is simple. You can schedule an initial assessment as soon as today virtually, from the comfort of your home. Your first meeting will last about 90 minutes. You’ll talk with a me and a psychiatrist or psychiatric NP who will help design a treatment plan that works for you. Depending on your needs, your care may include medication management, therapy (including specialized support for thoughts of self harm) and care management. Additionally you’ll have the option to participate in recovery coaching, which includes working with a peer recovery coach, someone who has lived experience with mental health and/or substance use, and who will support you through your recovery journey.
